PRESS-ONS GUIDE
SIZES
All measurements are an approximate guide only. Different shapes and lengths can have slightly different measurements. The most popular size is Regular, but if you have smaller hands and/or nail beds you'll likely want Small or Petite, while Wide is ideal for naturally larger nail beds. Press-ons can be carefully filed around the edges to better fit your nail bed (just take care not to scratch, misshape, or damage the design!), so if you're stuck between standard sizes it's best to opt for the bigger option so you can file where needed.
If you're unsure on sizing, I'd recommend choosing the custom size option to ensure the fit is as perfect as it can be! In your order you will receive your personalised nail size card to keep for future reference, so you won't have to work out your sizes each time.
HOW TO GET YOUR CUSTOM SIZES
Option 1: If you have a soft tape measure at home, lay this horizontally across your nail bed, measuring the width across with the mm side. Measure across the widest point in the centre, where the skin meets the nail on each side and match the sizes to the above chart. Alternatively if you don't have a tape measure, you can mark the width of your nail using sticky tape and putting the tape against a ruler to see the measurement. Use the size guide above to work out your nail size number, and provide these in the order notes at the checkout. EG: Thumb to pinky: 0,4,3,4,8.
Option 2: If you don't have a tape measure or are struggling with option 1, that's not a problem! Simply drop me a message on Instagram once you've placed your order, and we can do the coin method to measure. This is as simple as sending me a photo of your hand next to a 10p coin as this gives me a standard size reference to work from. This video explains how!
Whilst both of these options are generally foolproof, please remember that all nail beds are different - some are more curved than others, so press-ons will naturally lay different on everyone. The press-ons I work on follow the standard industry sizes, so if you've used press-ons before it's likely that the sizes will be the same. If you're a newbie, to have the most accurate fit I'd recommend both measuring your nail beds and doing the coin method.
SHAPES
All shapes will come like above as standard. If you'd like to make any alterations (eg. rounded corners on square or a more oval almond) please just leave a note at the checkout!
