From a kitchen table in London to a busy city centre salon in Manchester, my nail journey has been far from smooth. I trained when I was at the peak of running a limited company that had zero relation to nails. I was craving a creative outlet, so I turned to nails after hyper fixating on nail art videos on TikTok in 2023. Like many of my obsessions over the years, I assumed nails would be another ADHD hobby that would eventually grow dust in the garage. However, nails completely changed everything for me. It unexpectedly opened my eyes to what really wanted to do and everything started to make sense...

Freshly qualified, I moved my entire life from one side of the country to the other, so spent a while having to navigate a change of scenery as well as building a new client base… again. My time up north so far has consisted working from home, renting a desk, opening and closing my own shop, to finally settling in my own private studio at the end of 2025. On top of that, I’ve been raising 4 children (fury ones, obviously), planning a wedding, and generally just trying to navigate my neurospicy brain. It’s been a journey to get here, but now I have found a space that wholeheartedly works for me, it has re-lit that passion for the creativity, so now is the perfect time to spread my inclusivity further.

I have worked really hard over the last few years to build a brand and create a queer and neurodivergent safe space for me and my clients, but that only spreads in and around Greater Manchester. Press-ons gives me the opportunity to stretch that inclusively to every corner of the UK, and means I can finally answer ‘yes’ when I get a “do you do press-ons?” comment on TikTok…!
